Hi, I'm Jon. I've been playing piano since I was 5-years-old, and went on to major in piano and voice in college. I have taught in both private one-on-one and classroom settings, and the biggest complaint I get from students is: 

"I just want to be able to play the songs I like" 

I've found that most beginner piano method books (and teachers) focus very heavily on reading music that it takes forever to start playing the music that students want to play... but if you're a singer taking piano lessons, you probably really just want to learn to accompany yourself – which is a much different (and simpler) skill.

Piano doesn't have to be hard.

So, that's why I decided to put together this program together. My goal is to get you to go from:

I can sing, but I don't know where to start with piano

to

I can play enough to support my voice on any song I want
